The Riverhead, N.Y., news entrepreneur has been a strong and proud voice in support of the goals of Local Independent Online News Publishers. An invitiation to join the LION leadership team was extended after Board approval at an April 10 meeting. While Civiletti's election is slated for confirmation at a meeting next month, she has already begun to partiicpate in Board deliberations.
"Count me in," was her concise reply when asked to join the Board.
Civiletti joins 10 other active news publishers on LION's governing body.
