Save on tickets to the only conference focused on the business of local independent online news — you have until Sunday night before late registration rates kick in for the Oct. 11-13 Local Independent Online News Publishers Summit in Chicago.
Attendees have until Sunday, Sept. 30, to save money on registration at the regular conference rate.
The annual conference at Columbia College in Chicago Oct. 11-13 is the nation's largest gathering of local independent online news publishers, with more than 40 states represented in previous years. This year's program of speakers, panels and workshops on the revenue, technology, community engagement and journalism that build local news organizations has been expanded to three full days of practical tips and real talk about the business of local journalism. An early look at the agenda is here, with many more sessions being added.
